Are you confused by all the 'best diet' information out there? Do you wish you could make friends with food? Then this program is for you. This is not another diet program. We will explore ways to use food to balance our mood and bring peace and resilience to our day.
And from there, we will work towards our goals with clarity and self-acceptance.
In this 6 week program, we will use both Conscious EFT and Whole Food / Living Nutrition to learn how to Nurture and Nourish ourselves in ways that bring peace, calm and satisfaction to our lives. In July, 2021, we will be offering a Beta test at a reduced price for a small group to test and evaluate the program before we launch it in the fall. This will be a wonderful time to connect with the fresh foods of summer to enliven our exploration. Dates are: July 7. 14, 21, 28, Aug. 4, 11.

We are not merely physical beings. We are a complex energetic dance of thoughts, emotions and beliefs that are reflected inside, in our bodies, and outside, in our lives.
Nourishment is far more than food. There are many other sources of nourishment for mind, body and soul. Some are more tangible than others. Food, drink and exercise are fundamental physical nutrients. But joy, creativity, and connections with others are also essential nutrients that must be factored in to a balanced diet.
Given that most of our daily behaviour is run by subconscious programming, it's no wonder that we have trouble meeting our dietary goals. Sometimes we seem to use food as punishment and not nourishment! Using EFT can help us to unpack our relationship with food and authentic nourishment. And it can help us create a balanced diet of food, fun, friends and creative growth.
Many of us think that eating a 'healthy' diet is all we need to do, but we can have no end of difficulty sticking to this vision of perfection! We can judge and punish ourselves harshly when we think we are not living up to our own strict standards (or those put there by someone else). But our biology, emotions and mind/body connection are complex, and there is no simple solution. But we CAN start to unravel the threads that tie us down.
I have a lot of experience in this area as someone who has studied nutrition from many perspectives, and as someone who has lost and gained the same 50 pounds more than once. Now that I have EFT as the foundation of my daily practice, I am able to start establishing a happier relationship with nourishment, and let go of the expectations of perfection that can be paralyzing. The first essential nutrient is self-acceptance.
Learn some Foundational Food Skills
Making simple shifts and adding in some tasty, nutrient-dense and high energy choices is the best place to start. Don't think of deprivation. Think of adding some goodness. The 'less good' foods will eventually fall away.
Learning some basic living and whole-food preparation skills is a good place to start. Bringing in some fermented and sprouted foods can really bring the spark you need to start creating a new way of self-nourishment.
